It is estimated that for fifty-five years, Dr. Herlander Elias da Silva Anacleto, a graduate in pharmaceutical sciences, teacher of Physico-Chemistry and Mathematics, basketball athlete, was the owner and Technical Director of Farmácia Turcifalense. 

Later, his son, Nelson José da Mata Silva Anacleto, Pharmacy Technician, practicing Greco Roman wrestling in his youth, was the owner of the pharmacy, and was also one of the founders of the Association of Help of Turcifal, this social and cultural nature, was committed in Turcifal's village passage to town.

Currently, the company Barreiros & Anacleto, Ltd. owns Farmácia Turcifalense and (Mobile Pharmacy Station of Freiria, until May 2010) now Farmácia Vitória.

The Mobile Pharmacy Station of Freiria exists since 1973, is located in Portugal, in the District of Lisbon, Municipality of Torres Vedras (12 km away), Freguesia of Freiria, is known by the popular name of "Freiria dos Chapéus" and by the filming of the television program "Floribela". The parish is made up of: Arruda, Asseiceira, Castelhana, Chãos, Colaria, Concelhos, Freiria, Moucharia, Murteira, Paul, Poços, Sarreira, Sendieira.

The name of the parish is related to a historical fact that occurred in the parish in remote times. In Freiria lived the freires of a religious order, and this presence was so prolonged that the name remained. Freiria also means congregation, society, military corporation. The maximum icon of this village is the main church of S. Lucas.

On May 18, 2009 was authorized by Infarmed the transformation of the Post in Pharmacy and transfer to new facilities, on August 18 is made the deed of the land of the future Pharmacy, on the 19th of the same month, the beginning of construction work. It is expected to be completed by the end of February 2010. The Pharmacy Victoria opened to the public on May 17, 2010.

Seven kilometers away from the county seat, the parish is constituted by the places of Freixofeira, Carvalhal, Melroeira, Casal Barbas, Almeirinhos, Aldeia da Serra, Cadriceira and Mugideira. It is situated on the right bank of a tributary of the Sizandro river.

The village has developed due to the good accesses by freeway (A8). In recent years some residential estates have been built, such as Campo Real - which has a golf course, an equestrian center and a hotel, and Quinta de Fez, also of a residential character..

The maximum icon of this village is the impressive Church of Santa Maria Madalena, Turcifal's Mother Church.

As a way of evolution and to provide a more complete and comprehensive service to our users, we created this website - Online Pharmacy (first in the County of Torres Vedras) in May 2009, as well as the home delivery of medicines.  

On November 20, 2009 the website of Farmácia Turcifalense was approved by Infarmed, and is authorized for the sale of prescription drugs online.

We were therefore one of the first pharmacies in Portugal, with a website for e-commerce, called Pharmacy Online.
