World Contraception Day is celebrated annually on 26 September. This day aims to raise awareness of the different contraceptive methods available, promote access to information and family planning services and encourage informed decision-making in relation to sexual and reproductive health. During this day, various activities are organised, such as awareness campaigns, educational workshops, distribution of information materials and counselling services. World Contraception Day aims to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to make informed and safe choices about their sexual and reproductive lives.
