Inadine Compresses 25 9.5x9.5cm

The dressing is designed to protect the wound, even if infected. This dressing is indicated for the treatment of ulcers and can also be used for the prevention of infection in minor burns, and minor traumatic skin loss injuries.

Inadine pad provides a long-lasting antiseptic effect, which helps control infection by bacterial, protozoan, fungal and spore organisms. It is suitable for use on adults and children. In highly infected wounds, it can also be used in conjunction with systemic antibiotic therapy.

Precautions:

Inadine compresses should not be employed:

Where there is known hypersensitivity to Iodine (allergy).

Before and after the use of radioactive Iodine (until permanent healing).

During treatment of kidney problems.

In women who are pregnant or breast-feeding.

In cases of Duhring's dermatitis herpetiformis (a specific rare skin disease).

Inadine compresses should be employed under medical supervision:

In patients with thyroid disease.

In newborns and infants up to six months of age, because lodopovidone can be absorbed through the skin without injury.

To treat deep and ulcerative wounds, burns or extensive injuries.
