Vitamin E - 30 mg (250% NRV*)

Vitamin C - 180 mg (225% RNV*)

Zinc - 15 mg (150% VRN*)

Fish Oil - 1015 mg

Omega 3 fatty acids - 600 mg

Of which DHA - 360 mg

Zeaxanthin - 2 mg

Lutein and zeaxanthin are pigments of the carotenoid family, and are found in various foods, particularly green vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, spinach, and others. They are naturally present in the constitution of the eye and prevent macular degeneration. Both have an anti-oxidant action and also filter blue light, toxic to the retina.

Omega 3 (EPA and DHA) are essential fatty acids which the body is not able to synthesize, so they must be obtained from food. The main sources of omega-3s are oily fish (such as sardines, anchovies, slamon) and certain vegetable oils (rapeseed, walnut, soybean, and others). The eye is naturally rich in omega-3s, specifically DHA, which plays an important role in visual function.

Antioxidants (Vitamins C, E, Zinc and Copper) protect the cells against free radical aggression. Zinc is naturally found in high concentrations in the eye and contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
