Primus capsules
Primus capsules is a food supplement that contributes to normal brain function. With omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), magnesium, folic acid and vitamin E, it was specifically formulated to help as an enhancer of anti-depressant therapy.

Mechanism of Action
"Considering that the pathophysiology of depression involves more than simple depletion of neurotransmitters (such as serotonin and noradrenaline), in which the perineuronal inflammatory component is increasingly valued, Primus enhances the efficacy of antidepressants through different mechanisms that complement each other.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
DHA: Maintenance of the structural integrity of neurons (neuroprotective effect), enhancer of membrane stability and of neurotransmission fluidity.
EPA: anti-inflammatory effect.
Magnesium: Modulator of NMDA receptor activity, regulation of neuronal hyperexcitability and with functional activation functions. Magnesium is an essential trace element and the replacement of levels in case of deficiency allows a functional activation of the organism.
Folic Acid: Fundamental in the methylation processes inside the cell necessary for the synthesis of neurotransmitters and membrane phospholipids.
Vitamin E: Broad spectrum antioxidant, contributing to greater resistance by neurons to a number of oxidative cellular processes, many of them the result of local pro-inflammatory effects."
