Used as directed, it may last for several months.
The orthosis should not be used if you can no longer move your big toe laterally. Do not use on unprotected wounds.
The patented external silicone tendon Epithelium Flex allows the correction of deviation of the big toe. The level of correction can be regulated by applying more or less tension to the tendon.
The Epithelium Flex outer tendon also absorbs pressure on the exostosis ("bunions"), thus relieving pain.
The Epithelium cushion creates a comfortable counter area in the shoe and allows the 1st metatarsal to push off.
