Directions for use

Take 2 tablets per day with a meal, or as advised by your doctor. Swallow the tablets whole, without chewing, with a glass of water. The daily dose may be increased to 3 tablets.

Glucosamine sulphate, 1000 mg - VRN not established; Chondroitin sulphate extract, 800 mg - VRN not established; Vitamin C, 40 mg - VRN 50%; Selenium, 100 µg - VRN 182%

Precautions

If you suffer from a serious illness and take any medication, you should consult your doctor before taking BioActivo® Glucosamine Plus. Shellfish allergy: although the risk is small, people who have a shellfish allergy may have an allergic reaction if they take BioActivo® Glucosamine Plus, because glucosamine is extracted from shellfish. Diabetes: people with diabetes can take glucosamine, however they should monitor their blood glucose levels for the first month. Anti-coagulants: people taking oral anti-coagulants should be careful while using chondroitin, as there may be an increased risk of bleeding in rare cases. Undesirable effects rarely occur if BioActivo® Glucosamine Plus is taken at the recommended doses. In rare cases stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, headache, drowsiness or itching may occur. No studies are available on the effects of BioActivo® Glucosamine Plus during pregnancy and lactation.

Not recommended in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of the formulation. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Do not exceed recommended doses.
